    Pros

This company does not have any "pros". Please do not apply for this company. They do not appriciate hard work or any type of commitments you will make.

    Cons

There are so many to list here. They terminated the entire compounding department unfairly. They just kicked them to the curb. These were the best workers in the company and they didnt even care. The investigation they did was faulty and bias. Please do yourself a favor and never apply for this company. Upper management does not know how to run a company. They treat workers like slaves.

    Advice to Management

My advice to management is to watch out how you treat employees because it will one day come back to bite you. Karma.... karma

    Pros

Shannondell is close by. Explore your retirement options.

    Cons

Alot of " bad behavior " from employees tolerated by their superiors/upper management. No suprise there since they ( upper management) set the tone.

    Advice to Management

None. It would fall on deaf ears.

I have been working at Luitpold Pharmaceuticals full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some very nice, helpful people. Company is doing well and has a bright future. The new CEO, Ken Keller, appears to be exactly the type of person you'd want leading your company. Ken is making improvements that I, as an employee, really appreciate and notice.

    Cons

Many people in upper and middle management have absolutely no business being employed by Luitpold. That is not a spiteful or frustrated statement--there are people that genuinely impede the progress of the company. It doesn't exist in every department, but there is a culture of blame and politically motivated childish actions/opinions.

    Advice to Management

Stop worrying about politics--the best companies are completely open and honest with each other.

I have been working at Luitpold Pharmaceuticals full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Small generic GMP manufacturing facility. Decent pay and benefits. Able to be heard by upper management.

    Cons

Lack of structure around promotions, no path forward to the next step. When employees bring up promotions they are impeded by middle management.

    Advice to Management

Give employees a clear path to get promoted. While some people may be happy staying in the same job forever, others are looking for the next step. Without guidance and any clear structure for getting there you are going to lose good people who just want to know they are valued and can reach their goals.

Also, side note that the CEO was replaced, and the new CEO, Ken Keller, seems like he cares about his people and giving them the opportunity to succeed. I don't think that this thought process has gotten down to middle management.

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Take care of your people and you'll see the rewards.
