    Cons

    Hefty start up package

    Advice to Management

Keep building that trust with your retailers. We love you guys! ❤️

""Wholesale" prices on new styles are expensive!"

I have been working at Lularoe part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    -Cute, fun clothes...at times.
    -First pick at inventory.
-The LLR sisterhood: reconnecting with old and meeting new friends because of LLR.
    -Fun fashion hobby
-Ability to connect with other retailers and purchase at wholesale through them.
-New styles are coming out regularly and there are more solids, velvet and desirable prints but there are cons to that as well (see below).

    Cons

-Too much market saturation, not original anymore.
-Quality on some of the older styles is diminishing, especially the recent Noir releases. The blouses are made of see-thru, itchy and thin material.
-The "wholesale" prices for new styles are REALLY EXPENSIVE (i.e. the Maria t-shirt dress is $34 at wholesale and $64 retail and the Maurine dress is even more at $37 wholesale and $74 retail?!). The Maria t-shirt dress really should be $20 wholesale and $40 retail! It's like retailers are actually paying retail and then are forced to mark up the prices to our customers to make a profit.

    Advice to Management

Please lower the wholesale prices for your retailers. I'm sure you can do it and still make a lot of $$money$$. Proof is when you did the Disney flash sale...that was affordable and in turn affordable for our customers! Those are the kind of prices that we can afford if you want us to meet the 30 piece quota per order.
Some of your retailers are resorting to buying from other retailers who are GOOB just for fresh inventory because we can't afford to 30 pieces of a $34 (the Maria) or $37 (the Maurine) dress!

I worked at Lularoe full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

-Some creative freedom as far as design content. There are patterns that I created that I'm proud of when allotted enough time.

-You will learn the Adobe Illustrator program well due to the extreme demands.

-Down-to-earth coworkers. However, the turnover is so high that you can't count on that either.

    Cons

-First off: this position is to create patterns for a multi-level marketing structured company.

-Extremely dysfunctional environment. Managers are arrogant and insecure who put down getting college educations while paying those with degrees more. Managers boast about the CEO being a multi-millionaire without a high school education.

-Demands change not only day to day, but hour to hour. Changes in demands are arbitrary. Impossible time frames for work load, leading me to believe that they want bad, unsellable prints on purpose.

-If the world of 1984 sounds ideal, this is the job for you, because Big Brother is watching! Constant live-feeds of your monitor to the boss's office at all times.

-False promises are made to prevent designers from leaving.

I have been working at Lularoe full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The culture, the ownership, the unity and what we do and WHY we do it is the very reason i will never leave LuLaRoe. Anyone should feel so lucky to be here.

    Cons

Rapid growth, needing more GREAT people on the bus. Growing pains to growth.

    Advice to Management

Look for way to pay your people fairly and show better value to those on your teams. Be a servant leader and fill the needs of those you serve. Even if that mean financially.

I worked at Lularoe full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

none. just typing to get to the word minimum

    Cons

trashy people: management and retailers and executive family
    pay: below market range
reputation: MLM company, many lawsuits, many negative rumors that eventually turn out to be true, treat retailers like kids and staff like animals in cages, high turnover, petty drama > hard work, not as rich as it claims, Mark and Deanne are not involved in their company at all
Product: clothing has gotten repetitive and ugly, old clothes are sent to retailers

    Advice to Management

to retailers: 1. run as far as you can. 2. if you choose to stay, do your research. look at reviews on here and other places. get a team of professionals that know how to deal with taxes, licenses, managing money, etc. llr will not help you. there are free resources online to help you learn how to run a business if you have no experience. and if you choose to leave, do what you have to.

train your management on how to manage people or hire experienced managers. your employees are not animals also make up your mind with what you want to do as a company. you have no values and everyone can see that. dont talk about it, do it

    Pros

This company has a great heart and has found a strong differential in the market. They believe in blessing lives and strengthening families. They go above and beyond at events to show retailers they are appreciated. The clothing is comfortable and covers the "mom bod".

    Cons

There is a lot of negative press that hurts personal sales. The company is still young and has a lot to learn on the PR front.

    Advice to Management

Consider the implications of your actions from a PR standpoint. Quick decisions can have big consequences the hurt the lives of many.

    Pros

You get 1st pick and the items they ship for the price it should be

    Cons

Can’t get any answers from reps when you call
They have had my inventory (over$4000) wholesale price since August and I haven’t seen a dime back
The phone wait to talk to someone is over 2 hours for calculations
The emails they send when you ask for answers are automated responses
The market is over saturated for their items
The quality after washing a few times sucks

    Advice to Management

Give customer service to all your customers, retailers past and present, be more specific when people reach out for answers
