I worked at Lularoe full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Some teams are supportive.
    There are cute items.
    Fits curvy girls.

    Cons

I started with LLR in May of 2016. The culture was amazing. I loved the clothes. I felt like I was really able to make a difference in how women felt about themselves. And for a while, that was true. Then the company started to grow faster than it could keep up. Quality started to go. HQ swears quality was never affected, but it was. There were more and more policy changes with zero warning. The kind of changes that truly can destroy someone's business. For me, I was working full-time and never pulled a profit. I had to work twice as hard to pull the same numbers as I did the year before. It finally became time to close my doors. It was only after I resigned that the true colors of LLR really manifest themselves.

I have seen so many instances of lies and deception from LLR. They have made promises and then gone back on them, sometimes costing retailers THOUSANDS of dollars.
I have even been held captive by them for MONTHS waiting for my inventory refund. A refund I had to fight for because their system is corrupt and completely unorganized. They treat retailers like they are a joke and stupid. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. They are crooks and not who they say they are. Most of the retailers I still associate with are wonderful and decent people just trying to make a living for their families. The owners have proven to be greedy and vindictive at best. I wish all the luck to the retailers trying to make it. Unfortunately, I fear it's only a matter of time before it all goes under.

    Advice to Management

Be who you say you are. Honor your commitments. Don't blame others for your mistakes.

I worked at Lularoe part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I used to love the clothes - they were different and stylish and fun. I still like the older stuff I have, actually.

    Cons

Where to start? Quality control issues. Over-saturation of consultants. Favoritism to certain context retailers. Upper management is full of non-qualified family members of the founder. Design theft. Blind worship of the CEO and spouse. NO CRITICISM ALLOWED EVER - even constructive. It’s all unicorns and rainbows! Liars.

    Advice to Management

Take responsibility for the mess that is this company. I’m sure they’re already packing for their next money-making scheme - they have a long history of it - but have cheated and lied to a lot of people along the way. Horrible.

I have been working at Lularoe part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I cannot think of any at this point.

    Cons

I tried to stay positive about LLR despite some enormous red flags. I cannot anymore.

The lawsuits. Ripped leggings. The holiday pieces with the owners pictures on them (talk about a HUGE ego, holy cow). Then the "Noir" release which was handled incredibly unfairly...all of that sucked and made me think, "What am I doing here?"

But the last straw was the deaf woman on the live who was blocked by a horrible, mean girl. And LLR did NOTHING. It's all 100% about money and I just cannot anymore. I don't want to be associated with such cruelty and stupidity.

    Advice to Management

It doesn't matter because they think they are smarter and know better than everyone else so they'll never read this or care, but your greed will be your downfall.

I worked at Lularoe full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    There are absolutely no pro's

    Cons

-stealing prints from small artists and using them as their own. But yet they "design their own"
-the owners are selfish and greedy; they claim to be for the "little guys" but time and time again they prove to only want to serve themselves
-policies change constantly and with no warning
-too much pressure from uplines to sell more, only so they can get their monthly bonus
-oversaturated market. Just stop onboarding already
-no support. They claim to be a "sisterhood", but it was more catty than any high school I've ever seen

    Advice to Management

Stop onboarding. Stop changing policies overnight. Just go out of busibess already, too many women are thinking this is a great business but it is far from it
