    Pros

There are very few places where you can make difference on daily basis. New product roadmap, new blood and rigor in engineering has put the company back in track.

You are treated with respect and dignity. Team members are collaborative and helpful. Company has been undergoing transformation and changes have started producing positive changes.

    Cons

Some departments are still slow to change.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the change management. Some people will resist but this is required.

    Pros

Good work life balance can be achieved.

    Cons

Not a lot to none "on-the-job" learning opportunities. esp. improving or gaining technical skills.

    Advice to Management

    Too disconnected.

    Pros

I've been working here (Bellevue) for 3 plus years - great people, and very approachable senior management. I find the work interesting and rewarding. New management within Dev have helped to improve processes and accountability.

    Cons

Focus (from execs) is always on sales and rarely on development or quality. Product focus and product priorities change very quickly - it might seem nimble, but can feel chaotic. Some areas chronically understaffed.

    Advice to Management

Talk about areas of weakness and focus on improving them, rather than pretending they don't exist.

I have been working at Lumedx full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I've been working at Lumedx ( Bellevue office) for 3 months as software developer.

Here is what I like a lot :

    1. Family friendly attitude. While being new person I had tons of questions about products setup, project itself and business workflow. I was able to approach anyone and always got my questions answered.

    2. No hassle, no stress, no overtime until it's absolutely necessary ( no overtime at all in my case)

    3. Full stack of technologies - lots of legacy code you have to deal with at one side, and very positive approach for new ones at another.

    4. It's very easy to set your own work life balance.

    5. Benefits like 401, health insurance, free gym, almost free parking, etc..

    Cons

I don't see any right now.

    Advice to Management

    keep up the good work!

world class product, proven success as measured by high KLAS ranking, dedicated employees and dedicated leadership, consistent growth in market and with customer satisfaction, early adoption to grow analytics is key to success, including ability to offer and deliver valuable product alternatives to big vendor competitors.

    Cons

small company with limited resources, but ability to manage and invest resources wisely to further the company goals & success. consistent, steady, stable growth since 1985 is a good thing to be proud of.

    Advice to Management

keep up the good work! true leaders continue to lead even with challenges and unfortunate negativity from unhappy people. the grass is pretty green inside our fence.

I have been working at Lumedx full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Given the opportunity for growth within the company. It's very easy to set your own work life balance. Great benefits, 401K (4%match). PTO increases as you work longer for the company 2 weeks 5 years, 3 weeks for 10 years..

    Cons

It can be hard to feel you are making a difference for the company. There is way too many software products built across the company for different departments. It can be challenging to support and build test environments.

    Advice to Management

Improve communication among all departments. Consolidate server applications. Provide detailed requirements for development test environments. Plan ahead. Deliver on time.

I worked at Lumedx full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Easy job and work/life balance is great. Definitely a good place to learn VB and some basic .NET.

    Cons

Not challenging, 20 year old code that can't be changed. Incompetent Management. No growth in revenue or job responsibiliy. Family run company so nepotism is definitely a problem. Low pay.

    Advice to Management

Reward employees for doing good work and offer incentives to go beyond the just getting by. Citrix is not the answer for a real SAAS solution.
