    Pros

Great team environment. Awesome income potential for those who want to work. Upper level management is supportive in employee growth and innovative in it's new marketing strategies. Since the Tropicana takeover, things have changed for the better! I wish I hadn't left.

    Cons

Some middle management could use training in professionalism and maturity when dealing with subordinates. Mostly in table games department. The casino environment can be rough in that arena.

    Advice to Management

Continuing education for management aside from MGC required testing, etc. Managers could use a turnover as upper level management recently has experienced. Way to go on your numbers and recent increase in revenue. Your new GM rocks!

I worked at Lumiere Place full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good money (used to be, at least). Point system, so you could call off when you need to if you used the point system correctly.

    Cons

The smoke, the hours, getting forced on more than scheduled, rude management, entitled customers.

    Advice to Management

Take pride in you work. Try to work with employees who like to work.

I have been working at Lumiere Place part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Decent to great tips - depending on the day.

    Cons

Management absolutely does not care about their employees or guests. They expect you to work 9-10 hours without eating or sitting. Constant change in what rules are enforced. Some employees can get away with not following the rules. There are so many people from so many different departments that don't do their jobs... and get away with it. Also no concern for how not doing their job affects your pay. Completely disorganized and lack of communication across most departments. Certain people in higher positions can get away with sexual harassment. They will change your schedule without notifying you, especially if you're new. Management can get away with not allowing 8 hours between shifts. If you always pick up shifts, they will take advantage of you. Guests are beyond rude and demanding which is partly because they have gotten their way (again not sticking to rules). You can be considered part-time and work full-time hours without full-time pay/benefits (I did it for 3 and a half months). People who do not qualify as managers are promoted to those positions (probably because they were okay with being taken advantage of for so long). I can go on but I think you all get the point. Please avoid working for this company at all costs. It really isn't worth it and I don't know how/why I lasted this long.

    Advice to Management

There's so much to be said but if they would correct the above statements, the Lumiere would be a much better place to work for.
