Cons
Unreliable employees, that is all.
- Former Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Free food, servers became great friends of mine, money (can) be good, good vibe all around, I often enjoyed coming into work, definitely felt like I came out of this job as a better server
Cons
New Braunfels customers are HORRIBLE, food wait times were insane, 3 maybe 4 table sections, “lupe tortilla standard” makes it hard to take more than 3 tables at a time, managers weren’t very rewarding and some were the absolute worst and had anger issues, tipout is 4% of your SALES so if you average 20% in tips your losing almost 20% of your tips

Great place to work but lots of management turnover

The tips are nice, very good customer base. The menu is easy to learn .
Cons
Way too much management turnover. As many people know, your manager can greatly effect you work experience somewhere. I was lucky to have great mangers most of the time but every few months a manger was shipped to another location and another manager came in.

Cons

- Former Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
You get 500 a month for food
Cons
Upper management is a joke. Alcoholics and favoritism Toxic work place

Pros
Pick 1 free Emp Food per day out of 15 item list. Nadia was an Amazing Manager who really cared about her employees and customers...had no complaints under her mgmt. Hardly ever ran out of food or inventory items. Everything was accounted for. Can't say the same for management who took over afterwards. General clientele is good, food delicious, high quality standards. Good place to work PT if you find a good manager team. Otherwise keep looking.
Cons
Some bad managers who don't train well and want everyone to become "hybrid" employees, where job descriptions overlap and creates confusion as to whose job is who's --> leads to no one wanting/doing the job or only a few good employees picking up the slack for everyone else to keep the restaurant functional. Overtime, carrying heavy cast iron skillets wears down your joints, causing hip and knee pain on the side you carry the tray.

Pros
Great money to be made if management doesn’t get in your way
Cons
Management is not just unprofessional , they are abusive. The amount of abuse, threats and harassment witnessed here was unlike anywhere else, and that’s coming from a veteran of the restaurant industry. Their favorite victims were the young undocumented immigrants working for peanuts.Hypocritical , considering most if not all of management were undocumented immigrants at one point .Their job was frequently threatened , not for true subordination or poor performance , but for requests for reasonable accomodations or time off. The harassment and ill treatment of female staff would make Harvey Weinstein blush with shame. I also witnessed some sketchy monetary transactions from management , but I suppose they can’t be proven. The owner seems like a really nice guy , but one has to wonder if he is truly ignorant of the daily going ons at his restaurants or if he chooses to be ignorant .I’d really like to think he doesn’t know about it because he is a likable guy. Maybe he will read some of these reviews .
