    Pros

Demo allowance, free lunch on Saturday

    Cons

Too much drama, getting used to being yelled at

    Advice to Management

More positivity ( not just talking about it, but actually doing it)

I worked at Luther Auto full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Decent guaranteed rate if you are a union employee (journeyman technician), free use of equipment and facilities, plenty of journeyman technician positions because no one wants to be a journeyman.

    Cons

Micromanaging, lower classifications are more valued than journeymen, bottom line is that the company is all about making money, even if it means taking it from their own employees.

    Advice to Management

Nothing. Keep doing what you’re doing because that’s how the you keep the techs young. Doing good may keep the senior guys around, you wouldn’t want that.

I have been working at Luther Auto full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I have the ability to work a flexible schedule and from home. Everyone here is great and welcoming.

    Cons

For my job I have to drive a lot and I haven't been reimbursed for milage or gas. It's a little awkward to ask. Wishing someone would just automatically take care of that since management knows we drive a lot.

    Advice to Management

Give employees who drive a lot a company car. All your dealerships are located all over the place. It would be ideal if a company car would be given so we don't have to use our miles, gas, breaks, etc to travel all the way to North Dakota / all over the Twin Cities.

I worked at Luther Auto (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I was able to get basically as many hours as I wanted to work. If you are a consistent employee, management really will work with you. Many of the employees are very kind.

    Cons

Overall, communication to employees that were not sales, was lacking and very easy to become just another number.

I worked at Luther Auto full-time

    Pros

If you love working with people, and customer service, working here can have its benefits.

    Cons

Expectations were constantly changing, and sometimes unclear. There's a high employee turnover rate, and I was underpaid for position I was working.

I worked at Luther Auto full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I was a service advisor and was acknowledged for my hard work. I loved the environment of a dealership and working side by side with knowledgeable technicians. My service manager was the best and we remain good friends! They also invest in your training. Only reason I left is because I moved.

    Cons

Being a service advisor is long hours no matter where you work. Also working so.e Saturdays

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up!

    Pros

    Great traffic and great product

    Cons

Huge separation between management and sales, no management support, just beating down on you

I worked at Luther Auto full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Decent pay. A nice co worker or two. No Sunday's or certain holidays. You get to work with a wide variety of people.

    Cons

NO work\life balance. No time off in first year. Horrible management. EXTREME turnover. Work one Saturday a month; but really two. The second one you're on call and have to be ready to come in all day if they need you and you DONT get paid. They don't abide by doctors notes.

    Advice to Management

Care about your employees. Completely redo the management. Offer time off within the first year.
