    Pros

Flexible schedule and not your typical retail hours, but retail none the less.

    Cons

Too results based. While numbers are important to the bottom line, the upper management does not care about the people, just the numbers they want you to deliver.

    Advice to Management

Layer in more Regional managers. 25 stores is way too much for one person. I saw my supervisor once in 5 months. The yearly pulse survey told you to be more people-focused, but in 5 months you did nothing to improve this area.

    Advice to Management

Overall better company communication, clear role expectations, build a team to tackle projects,

I have been working at Luxottica part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The only pro is receiving the occasional 50% off sunglasses

    Cons

Employees are very much underpaid especially for how hard an individual has to work to make a sale and that is only to maybe see 1% commission on your check from the $300 possibly $500 sale you just made for SUNGLASSHUT selling a piece of plastic or metal that cost $15 to make. Not to mention that personal goals can reach up to $5,000 a week . Your receipt of commission is determined by the rest of your team and store achieving goal. There is a lot of pressure put on staff for unrealistic numbers to be met. There is very little to no incentive to make sales. The company thrives off of under paid well driven people.

    Advice to Management

Learn to appreciate employees that can execute and close multiple sales. Hard working people are hard to come by especially in the area I work in

I worked at Luxottica (More than 10 years)

    Pros

If you can sell you will be ok

    Cons

If you cant sell and cant keep up with daily goals of the store then the management will lower your house and look at you sideways and coach you and send you home early.

    Advice to Management

If positions become available HIRE from within and train. You will make your employees happy and show loyalty to them.

    Pros

Great employee discounts at Lense Crafters.

    Cons

    Wasn't given the hours promised.

    Advice to Management

Management wasn't professional. I worked inside Macy's and wasn't allowed to pick up more hours at an actual SGH store in the mall, according to my manager. No room for growth.
