    Pros

has plenty of work if you don't mind over time.company it self good..work hrs. are set good.

    Cons

the worse thing is that leads and supervisors are awful to the employees. They talk down to you they act like they are way to good for you to speak to, or even ask a question. Always got a smart short snappy answer if you ask anything. Always threating you your job .never giving any praise for a job well done.no training but let you do something small wrong you will sure here it.but as I stated before they treat you like you are nothing.

    Advice to Management

please take a poll on how management is treating your people.

I worked at Lydall full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people that are not management are very friendly and talkative. It is nearly impossible to get fired, even non-Union.

    Cons

Everyone gets the same pay raise percentage regardless of work quality, so working hard will not get you anywhere. The people who stay are the people who are okay with doing as little as possible, and resent anyone who does work hard. They have no issues with not helping you, because there is no incentive for good work, and no negative consequence for bad work.

    Advice to Management

When your average length of employment can be described as 18 months and 20 years, with little in between, you might want to figure out why.

I have been working at Lydall full-time

    Pros

Other employees are fun to work with. Atmosphere is a little more laid back and easy going.

    Cons

Extremely hot environment. They demand very long hours and extra overtime. 12 hours a day plus Saturdays and Sundays. Pay is very low considering the work environment. A lot of favoritism when it comes to job postings and promotions. Overtime isn't done fairly. Some are forced to work many hours while others hardly work extra hours at all. Short break periods in a hot environment. Not much training at all. They pretty much just put on the line and say here do it and leave you to your own devices. Very boring and monotonous assembly line type job with no music, radio or anything to help pass the time. Safety is low par and forklift operators are rather dangerous.

    Advice to Management

Quit working your employees into the ground. People need time off. Relax on some of the rules. What would it hurt to have radios or something on the lines to help pass the time.

    Pros

Financially solid. Good temporary or beginning job, as long as you do not present yourself as being sharp and strategic.

    Cons

Leadership will turn their heads if something is being done ethical.

    Advice to Management

Review your process and thinking when something is brought to your attention.

I worked at Lydall full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Learned about parts that help reduce noise and heat inside cars

    Cons

Coworker take little mistakes you made, turned it into a big deal. People who would not preform their jobs correctly. Made to feel like a bad person for turning in wrong doing, but I got fired for saying a cuss word. One lady on the production floor cussing the team leader all the time and nothing get done.

    Advice to Management

Look close at some of your management team, they tend to play favorites when it comes to corrective action. You have a tech that thinks they can listen to ballgames and such during working hours.
