Weak Leadership and No Transparency
Apr 6, 2022 - Marketing ManagerRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- Nice office with all the bells and whistles - Good health benefits - Lyft credits/discount - Commuter benefits
Cons
- Leadership claims to be transparent but couldn’t be further from the truth - Lots of turnover - Not competitive with pay and raises are locked in to once per year (supposedly)

Very structured and opportunity for growth at company.
Cons
Pay is low and you have to work your way up which could take a while.

Long hours, apathetic conditions.
Dec 7, 2020 - Driver/Recovery Driver in Austin, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Pay was reasonable for the days and times I worked (Overnight weekends in my case). Other employees were friendly and enjoyable to work with.
Cons
Management was strict, had little care for the safety or ideas of drivers. Hours were 10+ daily with only a formal 15-30 minute break. Workload varied wildy, maximum effort was expected at all times.

Pros
good team, challenging, ok, idk, what to say
Cons
long hours and overtime if you're about that and they don't pay drivers well

No perks - awful work environment- Avoid.
Mar 1, 2022 - Community Associate in Washington, DCRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
It sounds like a good job to your family and friends.
Cons
Working in a hostile work environment inside an already hostile NTB was really awful. Lyft provided a bad experience to the drivers and the employees were also provided with no structure and bad pay.

Some Lyft Emploees treat drivers like trash. I guess we are. I am looking for work elswhere
Feb 3, 2019 - Driver in Victorville, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
It is a great place to work if you like to pay more than you make and get treated like worse than trailer trash by the Lyft employees. If that sounds good to you get on over to lyft right now. Pay to work for less than you get paid. It is great. NO one at support or by email or phone will help you with anything of importance. You are a driver = you are treated like crap. It is great. If you like a good beating and being lied to as you pay to help thos treating you like trash it is great. Come get your beatings.
Cons
There is no cons. Great place to drive and pay more than you make and be treated like trash. I just love it. It is Almost as good as getting a terminal cancer diagnosis.

Pros
You can make 6 figures doing rideshare. People saying the pay is low wake up at 9am and go home before the sun goes down. Great job if you have a work ethic. If you try to work banker hours you will be very disappointed though.
Cons
Occasionally you have to deal with difficult people, and driving is obviously a liability.

Pros
Flexible hours, good company vibe.
Cons
Too many changes in pay and it seems to be getting harder for drivers to make money. Income is not stable and prone to season changes.

Bad Tips & short trips but some beautiful souls along the way
Jan 20, 2021 - Driver in San Jose, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The pay outs are fast and there is a steady flow of trips.
Cons
The base pay is very little for the hours and energy involved in driving someone around. It's also a solitary job with little interaction to other drivers, employees, etcetera
