    Pros

    They have nice health benefits, a good work/home balance & co-workers are very friendly. Many of the employees have been there 10 + years.

    Cons

    They are VERY resistant to change, & new ideas are not encouraged. The pay is average, to a little below, & there is no room for advancement. There are many employees that have been there a long time, whether they are productive or not, & the opinions of those who are new to the company are not taken seriously. They also expect their workers to get 45 hours of work done in 40--overtime is highly discouraged.

    Advice to Management

    The company & its workers need to improve their processes or be left behind. It would be a good time to do some spring cleaning & eliminate employees that have longevity, but not productivity.

    I have been working at Lynden Incorporated as an intern

    Pros

    Good work-life balance; people are friendly. No dress code.

    Cons

    First, it would take you 4+ years to earn enough vacation/sick pay to cover 12 weeks maternity leave. They do not have a short-term disability policy. Furthermore, they will dock your compensation for the time you were on FMLA leave, by withholding part of your bonus for the time you were on leave (bonus is 25% of your total compensation. They do not explain this to you before you get hired or even afterwards. I would not have taken the job if I had known this beforehand.

    Advice to Management

    Fix your maternity leave policy before the government requires you to.

    Pros

    Lynden has nice work environment, good and friendly people that work together, making it a good place to work for.

    Cons

    Lynden does not have too much promotion going on. It is very common for someone to work at a position with same title over 10 years or more.

    Advice to Management

    Good and nice leaders at the corporate office. They are people oriented, provide good healthcare benefits to employees. Good work life balance.
