I worked at Lyneer Staffing Solutions full-time

    Pros

-I was able to command a "high" salary. "High" for Lyneer is still about 25% below market value.

-Turnover in staffing is high. Turnover at Lyneer is sky high. I have seen two people quit within two days because the company is so ridiculous. The turnover at this company is so unusually high, opportunities for promotion are available if you brown nose the right people.

-Management is quick to open new branches without much thought. This creates further opportunity for promotion. While I was with Lyneer (6 months in total) they opened four branches in my state. All but one failed miserably.

-Easy to get hired as a recruiter. They will literally hire anyone off the street.

    Cons

    -No strategic vision.
Example 1: the company rebranded itself. It uses to be Infinity Staffing. No one had any idea how they came up with the name Lyneer. The CIO told me it's because someone saw the name on the side of a milk carton and liked it because it rhymed with career.

Example 2: opening and/or relocating branches on a whim.

Example 3: signing HUGE $5 MILLION accounts with no plan as to how they will actually execute the terms of the contract. I was left alone to fill 50+ positions a week by myself.

-There is NO worklife balance. If you haven't filled all of your orders, you are expected to work on Saturday and Sunday. I consistently worked 12 hours a day. I received phone calls from my boss, my bosses boss, even the CEO up until 10pm. Sometimes I even had to sleep at the office.

-The business practices are shady. I was promised a 12% bonus. I saw hardly any of the money I was promised. My branch was billing huge numbers, and when I inquired about why my bonus was so low, no one could provide any reasonable answers. I am 100% sure that the company lies on its branch financial statements to keep the revenue for the company partners.

-The technology they provide is ridiculous. The "ATS" (Staffsoft) doesn't even have enough seats for everyone in the company! Its from the early 90s and has zero reporting functionality, and if certainly does not monitor open orders or applicants. I ended up resorting to using Google spreadsheets.

    Advice to Management

You should really just close the company.

Hire good people with college degrees. Pay your employees what they are worth. Sign contracts with discretion. Share the wealth. Invest in technology. Provide help and support to your branches. Be less concerned about revenue and more about profitability. I could go on for days.

    Pros

Provide transportation to site. got me employed fast.

    Cons

They made me lie on paperwork they never tested my urine. I will be notify the EEOC on those practices and their discrimination practices toward other people that don't talk or look like them and a few other things I will notify the NAACP on MONDAT.

    Advice to Management

Don't take it personal this is a business.
