    Pros

Company 2017 goals of improving software, culture, and employee training are on track!

Hard to list any cons due to the fact that Management is supportive and addresses problems head on with a solution.

    Advice to Management

I worked at Lyons HR (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Quick placements, when assignment ends they will work hard to place you in another quickly. They ensure that employees safeplace are represented well when issues arise.

    Cons

Lower than average pay rates (no matter what your skills you will not get more than $13 an hour if you are an Sr. Admin even an Executive Assistant, and I have seen them post Engineering type of positions for less than $20 an hour), no benefits (vacation, sick leave, no pay for mandatory plant shutdowns, etc.).

    Advice to Management

Bring up your pay scales, negotiate better ensuring realistic pay rates and benefits (I got vacation and sick leave because the individual I was contracted with called him and told him to pay it), remember those you're placing do not have any benefits, and should be receiving compensation in lieu of that. (Ex. A Sr. Admin should be getting at least $18 - $20 an hour, and even a lower level engineer should be getting at least $40 an hour).

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Lyons HR full-time

    Pros

co-workers are friendly and your able to help people who are genuinely looking for employment.

    Cons

very unorganized, management would rather be your friend than lead, the recruiters do everything, pay is low for all what you do, communication is the worst(everyone assumes you know everything verses just giving you the correct information). Upper management does not help out a lot during busy times(they would rather just watch you pull your hair out and sit back and relax and go to lunch)

    Advice to Management

Management should take ownership of the branch and not throw everything off on the recruiter. If you are the manager then be the manager. Practice better communication skills. Lead by example.
