I worked at M&M Manufacturing full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

A very tight-knit working group. You can bump into the owner, CEO, CFO, GM or whomever and know their name and they'll talk to you. That's rare for many companies these days.

Better than average pay; expensive insurance but I hear that has changed.

They care about their people. It's very much like a family.

    Cons

Old machinery that's breaking down. Not enough investment in equipment that's necessary for doing metal work.

Problem managers are kept around a little too long.

I worked at M&M Manufacturing (Less than a year)

    Pros

Fairly clean and comfortable work place, decent parking and security. Seems to be adequately staffed and the equipment is acceptable.

    Cons

CEO throws temper tantrums in front of the entire staff, blaming all of the company's troubles on them. Lots of policy constraints.

I have been working at M&M Manufacturing full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

M&M has a lot of great employees, many of whom have worked here for over a decade or two. It is the commitment of the people and the engaged management that contribute to the continued success and growth at M&M.

    Cons

Not really a con in my eyes, but there are a lot of changes. Not everybody is comfortable with change.

    Advice to Management

Continue to place your people first.

be a little more understanding to the employees, life events happens un-for seen things occur. work harder to keep the good employees and do something about the ones who make derogatory and racically derived comments
