I have been working at M1 Support Services, Lp. full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Company offers fair compensation and ok benefits. Company also affords reasonable health plan rates. Affords the opportunity to go negative with vacation hours during first year of employment.

    Cons

No vacation until anniversary date after one year of employment but offers the opportunity to go "in the hole" three days during first year of employment. No safety equipment allowance. No education benefits. No opportunity for annual pay raises.

    Advice to Management

Front load a week of vacation. Give an annual (or at least a semi-annual) allowance for safety shoes. Offer some tuition assistance or reimbursement. Offer the opportunity for an annual pay raise. It's the simple things that mean the most and foster moral and commitment for/from employees.
