    Positive Outlook

I have been working at MAA Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Really great company with really respectful leadership. They do wonderful things for their employees and make them feel appreciated. Great work/life balance. Pay is very competitive and they give quarterly bonuses. They also recognize "star" employees. The health benefits are pretty good and they have programs that help encourage a healthy lifestyle. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with MAA.

    Cons

Communication can be somewhat lacking and some of the accounting processes are made more difficult than they should be.

    Advice to Management

I would like to see more potential for growth within the company and a bit more communication from the top down.

I worked at MAA Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The benefits are pretty good. There are some genuine and kind people there.

    Cons

Some people need to learn that you should treat others as you would like to be treated. Those same people seem to be allowed to treat others with no respect. Micro-managing. Also, loyal and long time employees were let go right at Christmas. Seemed heartless to me.

    Advice to Management

Someone should look long and hard at certain departments and ask "Why is there such a large turnover?".

    Pros

have opportunities to do various types of projects. For example, as a structural engineer, you may have chance to design bridges or building structures.

    Cons

Team working culture can be improved. Everybody is so busy that have no time to discuss the projects in which he dose not involve.

    Advice to Management

Create the environment for team work. try to get ideas from everybody when a project needs suggestion or innovative solutions.
