      Online shoppers= Less foot traffic.
      Less foot traffic = Low Sales
      Low Sales=Unemployment
      No work/life balance
      Like any retail job, say goodbye to weekends, evenings and holidays

      Advice to Management

      I realise your goal is to make money, and I know you know there is more competition than ever and way less counter traffic. Can we please adjust the goals accordingly?

      I worked at MAC Cosmetics part-time (More than a year)

      Pros

      It was a pretty chill job. If you did your work really well, they weren't strict. The best part is working with talented artists, doing event makeup, free makeup, meeting new clients that can also boost your freelance business.

      Cons

      If your boss likes you, it's impossible to get fired. They make a lot of excuses for people. Which can work out in your favor- if you're a favorite.

      un-realistic goals, non flexible hrs, hard to grow, artistry is not how it use to be

      I worked at MAC Cosmetics full-time (More than 10 years)

      Pros

      Great products to work with as a make-up artist.
      Creative freedom with use of makeup and clothing as long as its black.

      Cons

      Under appreciated and severely under paid for employee skill set and time
      Over worked. Made to feel guilty about taking mandatory breaks.
      Really inflexible schedule. You must notify within 6-8weeks if you need a day off (as a permanent employee) !?!
      Little to no raises at all keeping you at nearly base pay for years!!

      Advice to Management

      Compensate fairly for employee skill set. Foster a better environment for employee morale which is non existent when employees are under appreciated.

      Working with makeup always ahead of trends fast paced environment always something to look forward to always something to learn and improve on

      Standing long hours rude customers tend to run out of limited edition items fairly quickly fast paced environment sometimes very stressful
