I have been working at MANN+HUMMEL part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Not working too too hard but keeps you busy and the employees are friendly. You get MANN+HUMMEL shirts and cookouts when they are no injuries for a certain amount of time. The food is great. Breaks are great and enough time. Also work many hours.

    Cons

Temps are under Olsten and is not paid very much at all. Only minimum wage 7.25.

    Advice to Management

Temps deserve a raise of some sort. We work diligently and need money for school and lives as well. Get the student program back!!

It's probably one of the cleanest factories I've worked at. They're really friendly and respectful people, plus the hours and labor are easy.

The only downfall to working here is you may get over time or you may not it just depends on the work week.

I have been working at MANN+HUMMEL full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Decent people, great potential for company growth. Company has a strong brand with the Purolator name and combination with MANN+HUMMEL group.

    Cons

Mangers chosen due to heritage instead of qualifications. Management hiring turnover is extremely bias and they don't bother hiding it. It's difficult to believe that qualified managers are in such short demand that the company would result in hiring only management with similar ethnic background. One was hired and exposed for her lack of knowledge in a position and was still allowed to be employed!!! The gross negligence is apparent even to HR leaders, but a blind eye to the situation is in place.

    Advice to Management

Hire based on real qualifications not simply because of a desirable ethnicity.
