    Pros

They give you free coffee in the break room, as long as you bring your own cup.

    Cons

Health insurance package gets higher each year, and it covers less and less. It is so bad that it's called "co-insurance" now.

I have been working at MAXIMUS full-time

    Pros

This is a great company to learn and grow. If one is interested in learning and moving to different positions there are often possibilities. This is also a company that likes to promote from within the ranks rather than bringing someone from outside the company.

    Cons

when moving to a new position, in my experience, you don't receive a lot of support or preparation to perform your new tasks properly. You're pretty much forced to learn on your own. Also, the salary/compensation is lower than other companies for similar positions. There are no options to purchase vacation time, and the current PTO/vacation accrual rate system is very slow.

    Advice to Management

Management should really give some consideration to implementing compensation and retention strategies for the staff that wants to stay and grow with the company.
