    Pros

Some decent coworkers to share the grind with. Sales leads were friendly and helpful. There was good team work over all.

    Cons

There was a negative culture there. hard to advance and a very unbalanced work life balance. the place wears you down.

I worked at MC Appliance Corporation (Less than a year)

    Pros

Easy work/life balance, friendly teams that collaborate regularly.

    Cons

Mgmt does not value marketing and is very rigid in their business model. Not a good culture for young people looking to grow their careers in the business world.

    Pros

There are hardly any positives that I can remember about MC Appliance, but what I appreciate the most is those hard-working, dedicated employees that struggled alongside with me day in and day out. I can honestly say that some of the employees rally around each other thru common hardships.

    Cons

Horrible corporate culture as a result of inexperienced and incompetent management that failed to encourage personal and career growth and learning. Most of the time, people were caught up playing office politics, and failed to understand basic business concepts as a result. Employees were often underpaid, under appreciated, overlooked, and overworked. I'd like to think that this is a start-up company experiencing growing pains, but even after I left, I still hear stories of the same mistakes being made from former co-workers.

    Advice to Management

Work towards better management styles and develop a clear and consistent corporate culture. A happy employee can and will often exhibit greater productivity and efficiency than an employee who's disgruntled.

I worked at MC Appliance Corporation full-time

    Pros

Exposure to essentially all aspects of business for many positions.

    Cons

High expectations for filling in various roles could be inundating for certain people. Their turnover is relatively high considering the company size. Most people are expected to accommodate several roles.

    Advice to Management

They should care for what their employees actually think if they want to reduce their turnover and stop listening to senior members that only agree with the management.
