    It is a great experience working at MD Anderson Cancer, where you do realize the value of your work, to the patients, to the coworkers, and to the community. In addition, MD Anderson does a good job to help the employees achieve work and life balance.

    The atmosphere is great! The joy that is felt knowing that each and every day you are working to save lives and make cancer history. The connection between leaders and staff is awesome which shows the family bond within the institution.

    Cons

    There are no downsides, unless you are not passionate about helping people.

    The employees at MD Anderson have a strong connection to the institution's mission. Their passion and care for patients is obvious.

    Cons

    Although some perceive the leadership and structural changes occurring at MD Anderson as a "con," it is an exciting time to be part of this institution and help increase the quality and level of care that we provide to all of our stakeholders.

    MD Anderson is one of the few places to work where every single employee is passionately tied to its mission. It is an honor to work here! We have the benefit of the academic, research, healthcare, and corporate environments, so experience here will continue to benefit you no matter where you go next. Because of our size, your internal opportunities are endless.

    It is such a large institution. You have to go the extra mile to avoid getting lost in the shuffle.

    Listen to the front lines and allow them to set the direction. You are already on the right track to do this!
