I worked for a company for almost five years going from billing dept. to HR. I am now a program director for an adult day care under the same boss. I asked for a raise before being “promoted” to program director, and was denied. My pay was raised by $2 for the new position. My social worker at the ADC left for two months & I asked for a raise since I was doing work for 2 people now, and was denied again. It’s a super toxic workplace. What’s the best course of action?

I work at a 10 bed assited living as the manager in az. I have been with company for almost 9 yrs. The owners have 2 10 bed assited livings n 2 30 bed facilities. All 4 places are very nice. I make $22 hr as manager. I have asked for raise they tell to go to salary and I won’t. In the past few months I’ve need to hirer n they start new people at $21-$22 hr. Also just got my girls who been with me for 5 plus yrs to $21 hr. Do you think it is ok my staff makes $1 less then me

Get got work from home , nurses are performing above and beyond job duties. Company saving money by having employees work from home . No coffee expense , spending less on office supplies , etc.
Lack of support, biased approach, lack of motivation from management, lack of monetary compensation including bonuses , holiday celebrations, layoffs , staff leaving for better pay, overworked and underpaid .

Great coworkers, being able to work independently, paid holidays, as long as you’re doing your job they pretty much leave you alone.
There’s a reason why employees aren’t staying there long. The pay for UR and NCM is terrible. For a company that is located in Newport Beach, and for the amount of work they expect you to do, they should be paying A LOT more. There is a lot of favoritism here, especially since management is all related. Be careful with who you talk with here, there is a lot of gossip and stuff spreads fast here.1

Flexible work schedule. No micro managing. Room for growth. Small company that cares about their employees. Actively shows employees they are cared about. 10 paid holidays!
Sitting 99% of time. 30 min lunch break. Sitting way too long, sitting sitting sitting sitting sitting. We don't have stand up work stations. Sitting for extended periods of time.

Great company that allowed me to develop the begining of my career. Cutting edge projects in the medical sector being part of a highly qualified team.
There is no cons that I can explain about this company because the team I collaborated with was extremely professional, motivated, and all the people developed theis task for the same gol, success.
