I have been working at MERA full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great opportunity to get experience in different sw technologies. A bunch of projects dealing with customers from North America and Europe. A good place for career starters.

    Cons

Unclear company's strategy: declared and actual is a big difference.

    Advice to Management

More invest in office environment. Reduce attrition: Job positions should be more valuable for staff.

    Negative Outlook

    Pros

Stable company, experience is not needed to start as a junior. Schedule is flexible, so it's easy to start you career while you're studying.
You can get a lot of experience working in international teams in some projects.

    Cons

Low salaries, company becomes less loyal to employees every year. Offices are pretty basic.

    Advice to Management

Be loyal to people who bring you money. Now a lot of rules intended to make job for accountants and HR easier. Sometimes it consumes a lot of time which could be spend for making money for the company, sometimes it makes interaction with other services uncomfortable.

I have been working at MERA full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Stable and quite a big company with more than 25 years of experience in Telecom and other SW development areas. The company has 5 offices located in Nizhniy Novgorod, Russia and some offices located in other countries (Switzerland, Serbia, USA). Strong corporate culture, nice colleagues that are ready to help you.

    Cons

As a outsourcing company has a number of projects that have to work with legacy code. Mandatory requirement for good English skills for the majority of engineering and management vacancies.

    Advice to Management

Would be nice to do renovation in some of the older offices.
