    Great team to work with, stimulating and challenging work, you can learn a lot if you want to, fun atmosphere.

    Cons

    Long hours, not always the highest pay, former management was demoralizing, but no longer an issue as they're no longer with the company.

    Pros

    One of the best companies I worked for I worked for the work environment is accepting of most changes, and benefits are the best in the industry , never hated a day not going to work there.

    the usual of any large corporation, but nothing flexibility won"t ease

    Backstabbing co-workers, poor management, large turnover

    Management needs to get on the same page. You have 2-3 supervisors telling you different things and you don't know who to listen to.

    I need to get back at this.

    Cons

    The company as a whole brags about how they help with their students. The truth is, it all depends what department you're working at and that depends on the manager. Almost lost my job to study for midterms and finals.

    Pros

    MGM Grand pays fairly well and has good health insurance thanks to the unions UAW, HERE, and Teamsters.

    Cons

    The way management is allowed to operate their departments creates a hostile and stressful environment.

    Advice to Management

    Management needs to use better judgment when it comes to emergencies with employees children and employees that struggles with personal illnesses.

    Pros

    Great benefits, good place to work. The employees are like a family everybody is close. Tips are good and the casino stays busy.

    Cons

    Management is often inexperienced and that can make it difficult at times. EDR is empty on swing and grave shifts.

    Advice to Management

    Try to hire people with experience to manage it would make a big difference. Realise that employees who have been there a long time are valuable also.
