I have been working at MGM Grand Hotel full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I am a new hire but so far every time I am in contact with anyone in the company they are very positive, I get good vibes, they ask about my family which surprised me, they have good communication especially considering I am 1 of over 3000 new employee hires.

    Cons

No Cons to speak of yet I am still a new hire employee with a set start date.

    Advice to Management

Starting from the ground up in a new Resort I think Management needs to all work together, be flexible and willing to help out all other departments. It will be stressful in the beginning I am sure but very excited to be part of a new team!

I have been working at MGM Grand Hotel full-time

    Pros

    - Benefits
    - Hours (8 hrs + 1 hr paid lunch)
    - Free parking
    - Discounts

    Cons

Very unfair especially in my department, they don't care if you are dying or got into an accident or sick they will fired you if you lose all your points, or they will give you some warning and then you can't messed up your attendance for the full year. (BASICALLY, IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO YOU EVEN IF YOU'RE ON A WHEELCHAIR OR HAS A COLOSTOMY OR IV BAG U NEED TO GO TO WORK)
    - favoratism!
    - Managers break the rules too, but if they caught you ur done.
