I worked at MGM Resorts International full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good benefits, stable job, and structure for the most part.

    Cons

Management lack communication/organization skills, schedule is not flexible at all, rules change often, upper management does not seem to care about employees at all, most employees do not seem to be valued at all, questionable with new staff members because it does not seem like management followed full protocol throughout training, etc.

I have been working at MGM Resorts International full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Diverse, co-workers are awesome to work with

    Cons

Upper management/stockholders of this company does not care about lower end employees. They rather be cheap, cut benefits, departments, and workers to "save" money after employees stayed dedicated to their line of work for many years. They think they can run Vegas but their time will come because karma is a B.

I have been working at MGM Resorts International full-time

    Pros

Working for MGM provides you with a lot of *extra* benefits. Work culture is generally good, benefits like health insurance and time off are above average. The workday is typically 8 hours, including a lunch break. There's plenty of opportunity with such a wide range of businesses encompassed within the Company's umbrella.

    Cons

Base pay, HR "cheerleader" type activities that are new every year: SHOW, Inspire, etc. that require lots of training classes and involvement. Upper management typically promotes based on time in position, not talent.
