    Cons

    Some lack of structure and accountability, postdocs are usually paid little, especially in basic science.

    Advice to Management

    Streamline administration, provide principal investigators with voluntary means to be supervised and be accountable.

    Pros

    Inspiring and well funded. Beautiful work environment. Cutting edge science. Resources and access to collaboration. Highly capable colleagues. Big ideas. out of the box thinking.

    Cons

    Overly competitive. Ego issues. Less attention to subordinates because of large labs. Less guidance because PIs are overstretched.

    Advice to Management

    Be aware that big egos can slow down progress

    - Scope to learn new things with so many large smart people around.
    - Flexible work hours

    Cons

    - shared and small office spaces
    - salary is less considering cost of living of the area and industry rate

    Great science, wonderful and brilliant people. Good resources. Exciting scientific projects. Great opportunity

    Cons

    Very little negative . Facilities are older but that is expected for phyisics, high energy experiments. The pay is somewhat lower then industry
