Intense, sometimes overwhelming... Here is where you realize no matter how brilliant you felt about yourself before coming to MIT, everyone else here are equally, if not more brilliant - MIT teaches you how to be humble and modest, which are valuable qualities for ensuring one's continuing growth in the long run.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at MIT full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Well accepted degree. Definitely smart people. Learn advanced technology

    Cons

Everyone is under too much pressure and have on interests to educate each other. Intelligence is fully wasted by the bad organization. PI only care about funding sources. The student benefits are totally ignored.

    Advice to Management

The institution shall seriously back the students rights to the professors. The so-called support organization has no authority to really fight a professor. Think about how much money institute make from those professors. Very pessimistic about any change.
