I have been working at MJ Experia Marketing full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Since working for MJ Experia Marketting for under a year now, my life has changed for myself the amazing progression in myself and development as a person my confidence has grown so much, also being able to see people who I have personally help develop and grow has a massive boost for myself Also with the great opportunity this will be changing my career for life!

    Cons

Only thing I can think of is lack of parking facilities, but that is because the location is great being in the centre of Birmingham.

    Pros

I used to work here and I have realised since my departure with the company, Whether you like the business model and the company's approach or not, I believe that you won't find a better job that will teach you so many important skills in such a short amount of time. In just your first few weeks, (which might seem a little daunting at first) you will gain excellent communication and self development skills. It is solely...

    Cons

The job is not for everyone, and your first week or 2 can be quite daunting, but you start to see your whole attitude towards life and work and business, completely shift from the consumer perspective, to an entrepreneur. few other cons i'd say are that your travel fees aren't covered, as you are technically a freelancer (so you can claim your travel expenses back at the end of the tax year) working under a company name,...

    Advice to Management

hard decision to make as the job is not for everyone, so its an extra investment potentially gone to waste, but consider a travel allowance, paying the travel expenses for the first week? They may or may not get the hang of it afterwards, but it gives the employee motivation to develop themselves, and get used to things when there is no initial deficit.

I worked at MJ Experia Marketing full-time

    Pros

It is a very nice company with a transparent recruitment process. The atmosphere was awesome, team leaders help you to achieve your aims as on your success depends their success. Yes you are self employed, but nobody forces anyone to accept this job. It is clearly explained on the day how you will be paid and what you will be doing. Fast progression as again depends purely on you.

    Cons

The hours are long, but again it would be the same if you would be running your business. There are no set hours, you regulate the hours yourself to achieve your goals at your own pace. The only con for me personally was that the industry was not for me. It is very important for me to help people, to resolve their problems and unfortunately this career path could not provide it to me, but again it is not the company's...

    Pros

Some of the entry-level candidates were nice people

    Cons

Many! As I worked in sales before back in my hometown, I was absolutely elated when I found a job in Birmingham where I could start quickly and earn this amount of money. So was most pleased when I got a reply to do an interview. BUT... There actually was no problems up until the observational day. I genuinely thought the job was about selling products to clients such as retailers or other companies etc. I remember being...

    Advice to Management

Better advertisement, if you're not going to be saying what we can earn an hour, at least say commission based. Pay the expenses as there might be new starters who may be out of pocket and don't want to spend thirty pounds to get to Burton-on-Trent. Do not offer this job to people that are in full-time education, as they may not have the time to attend these "mandatory-like" social events afterwards, or even go on these...

    Cons

Extremely long hours, I worked 12 hours a day for 6 days for a month and wasn't given a single penny! truly wasted my time False advertisement about promotion etc. Met some extremely rude and unprofessional co workers, one co-worker literally kept making racial slurs to wards other worker which I found extremely rude and felt very uncomfortable!! Looking through some of the reviews on here makes me sick. Let me clear one thing up I am not working their anymore but did in 2016 before I am classed as a management review. I worked their and learned so much knowledge on life and sales and how to speak to people. Matt Wasall is definately the best Director you could have. He supports you in every way possible, it makes me sick listening to some of the NEGATIVE reviews...

    Advice to Management

Dont need to give this man and his team any advice. Hes a tank, a beast, and so is everything else promoted out through Matt, or even the people working with Matt at this precise moment. Keep doing it big Matt, Tom, Will, Wayne, and everyone else.

I worked at MJ Experia Marketing full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Starting off as a field sales they will bombard you with lots of knowledge and techniques to sell your product/service therefore you learn a lot in a short space of time. - learn to be positive, thick skinned. - learn basic skills of sales and sales language. - could earn lots of money for some people but for most very unlikely. - you'll learn things you need after 2 weeks

    Cons

    - not a career - basically not making many money because spending money on transport and food

    Advice to Management

If you are earning as much as you claim then would help out the field sales if you can subsidies their transport costs, this way majority of the people aren't losing as much money so might stay longer in the company.

    Pros

Learnt some basic 12-year old level sales skills. This company taught me the valuable lesson of when something seems too good to be true, it often is! They also taught me to trust my instincts and believe in myself when things appear to be very wrong.

    Cons

Where do I start! The positions posted on the various job sites are all the same job - from business assistant to door to door sales rep. The salary is a hoax, you will not be paid £18-22,000 because your salary is 100%commission based AND you are expected to sell in areas of high poverty meaning you sell very little, if at all. No matter what position was actually advertised, you will be expected to stand in the streets...

    Advice to Management

Stop lying and manipulating your workers! Stop getting your employees to write fake reviews to balance the bad publicity because you deserve it! Be truthful! Advertise the job as a sales job which needs absolutely no experience, that rewards hard work (via a 100% commission based salary) and all that jazz. Maybe pay for your employees transport costs or organise shuttles to the various areas if you are as rich as you...
