I have been working at MKTG as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Love working with new people. Management is very helpful when you have any questions. Great pay and lead model rates are great.

    Cons

Very part time work with little room for advancement. App has troubleshooting problems but they are fixing it. Work mainly Friday and Saturdays

    Advice to Management

No advice. The management is really excited to work with new people and are great at answering any questions new trainees have.

I worked at MKTG full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This is a good place for an entry-level brand ambassador, with little experience. You make your own hours. You work with solid brands.

    Cons

This is a good place for an entry-level brand ambassador, but there is no room for advancement. This is a 2-3 year job, at best. Bonuses are low, compared to other similar companies.

    Advice to Management

There needs to be room for advancement or every Brand Ambassador will leave.

I have been working at MKTG part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great company with amazing portfolio of brands they represent. Going out into the field meeting new account managers and owners is always fun. Pay is great for the position compared to other companies.

    Cons

no matter how many years you are in the field as a brand ambassador you hardly ever make it to a position in the office. I've been with the company almost 3 years and there have been several different assistant event managers to come and go or be promoted but the brand ambassadors/promotional models are never told about the positions being available until after someone on the outside is hired. Assistant event management team used to be amazing and always on point. currently the new team is unorganized, does not respond to emails or the emergency hotline until days later, so not host in office brand trainings or provide training decks for their weekly phone trainings.

    Advice to Management

When a position in the office is available - a posting should be made to current brand ambassadors/promotional models that would like to advance in the company. Brand ambassador/Promotional models have a better understanding of the requirements of these roles and how their role can help the other girls in the field.

    Pros

Get to work on cool brands. Management is really passionate and really cares about their full-time staff.

    Cons

Long hours. Early mornings. Late nights. The company has a "do whatever it takes" mentality, which sometimes means that you have to stand in the rain for hours in order to get the job done.

    Advice to Management

Empower your contract employees to take on more responsibility and give them the opportunity to become full-time employees.
