    Negative Outlook

I worked at MMB full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

there are some decent people there, and a few genuine ones that want to see you succeed

    Cons

the decent people are only a few.. the owners are completely out of touch with whats going on, they dont even get along or communicate with eachother. They pressure you to work super long hours without compensation - maybe they throw in a comp day every now and then but its not very often, it's like an unspoken rule that you cannot say 'i can't work late today' - you'll be on the outs if that happens. They are fine with letting certain people throw fits, yell at and even berate other employees, and nobody does anything about it. They are fine with only certain people also not showing up, working from home or leaving and pretneding to work - but not everyone gets the work from home perk. Pretty secretive and they think they are open and honest but really it's not. Compensation is ok, nothing spectacular. They really do not treat the employees right, common courtesy and manners are non-existent. No process anywhere, and no career paths at all. It's definitely very 'clicky' and you only get ahead if you are in with the right person....

    Advice to Management

Need to show appreciation to employees more, pay them overtime when necessary, give them some new perks, do not be condescending to them, get process in place, become more open with communication
