I worked at MMR Research Worldwide full-time

    Pros

Very interesting job! All my coworkers were great. This job certainly kept me on my toes, as no two days were ever the same. It definitely was not your typical, boring desk job.

    Cons

Could get very busy at certain times. Most days were exciting with plenty of things for you to do to keep you busy, but occasionally, you would have days that were slow and monotonous.

    Pros

The food sensory business is well organized and managed -the company had the sense to finally locate to the city,

    Cons

The custom research business is behind competitors with no real vision with how to be competitive in the US market. High employee turnover and a board of directors in the UK that are not interested in investing in the business. Believe these negative reviews and save your career.

I worked at MMR Research Worldwide full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Successful, team-oriented, satisfying. MMR is a great place to work and I'm happy to have some great memories. Talented people in all departments, and global opportunities starting to become available for those who want this, at all levels.

    Cons

It's not for everyone and be prepared for hard work and some stressful times by virtue of the market research agency world, just like all MMR's competitors. But you're supported by a strong team who do care about you. You are in it together.

    Advice to Management

Be brave. Market conditions are dynamic and challenging. There will be constant change. Continue to stand for what makes MMR different.

I worked at MMR Research Worldwide full-time

    Pros

People-orientated. Values the voice of every employee. Great work ethic and culture which stretches across all departments. Variety in day to day work and plenty of chances to take on responsibility from early on in career

    Cons

Management team are not well equipped to drive the business forwards. A real lack of organisation and the ability to finish things off, no matter how fundamental to the company's progress. Pay grades are very poor, especially for London/Oxford offices. Standard poor work-life balance as comes with any market research agency

    Advice to Management

The value placed on people is good but rapidly diminishing with poor remuneration and benefits. Somebody needs to take the helm and drive things forward in a professional, methodical, impactful manner - unlikely to be someone currently at the company
