I worked at MPC as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Awesome projects to 'beef' up your demo reel. Cool people aplenty - learn from them. Free food when doing OT. Facility is not too bad.

    Cons

LOTS of OT! Low pay for a crapton of work. Poor management. Broken promises and crafty manipulations.

    Advice to Management

Find the root of evil! Stop treating your workers like some lowly peons.

I have been working at MPC full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You are surrounded by professionals who are willing to help you. You'll work on great visual effects movies. You will learn a lot. You will learn the right way of compositing.

    Cons

It's very stressful specially if you're a junior. You should stay for a lot of overtime. You are underpaid and you are not sure if they will renew your contract.
