    Pros

MRI provides an opportunity to craft a career, assisting companies to become more successful and enhancing candidates careers in a most fulfilling way. It is all about relationships, and the company historically has experienced a 60+ % repeat business level, a testament to the quality of the search work executed. It is not easy, and not for everyone, but the company continues to enjoy strong tenure and several MRI Hall of Fame Members. The best of the best take complete responsibility for their success, and have enough thick skin to ward off the things that impact their efforts in a negative way. 50 years and counting, 60+% repeat business, clients all over the world. A great career for the right people, and a great solution provider for difficult staffing challenges.

    Cons

Since ours is a complex and challenging business requiring strong discipline, planning, attention to detail and execution at a high level on a daily basis, it is not a career for everyone. Sure, it would nice if it was easier, but nothing short of 100% commitment will work. Victims need not apply.

    Advice to Management

It is an evolving world, thus critical that management stay ahead of the curve regarding tools, technology and acquiring talent to win championships.

I worked at MRI Boston Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible hours, as much vacation as you want. You can come and go as much as you want because there are no managers and no one cares what you do. Just make money for the owner.

    Cons

No salary, no benefits, no leadership, no training. They bring in as many people who are willing to work for free. Only some people get paid. The training is lame and the owner tells stories over and over again. Nice guy but he is clueless about technology.

    Advice to Management

Bring in professionals to run the company like a real business. This place is a joke; a revolving door of people.

I worked at MRI Boston Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I wish I could say, if there were actually any. The only thing good about this place....oh wait is NOTHING!

    Cons

    awful management
    don't control their employees
    very one-sided
    under paid
CEO is not helpful on anything
    Rude Co-workers
    extremely awkward office culture
    not very helpful HR department
    this place just sucks

    Advice to Management

Actually help out your employees, if you want them to last, work with them on growing within the company. Also, whenever there is a problem, no one seems to help! Better management please, also don't turn the other way when there is a problem, instead of ignoring it-help out your employees to find a solution for it.

    Pros

You can earn a lot but it comes with a price

    Cons

They "grind you to the bone" to make a buck. You are also forced to act in a manner that is unprofessional. What I mean by that is they dont care if the candidates they are placing like their job or that the person is the right fit at their client companies. Just that the person takes the job and stays for their guarantee period so they can make money. This is a hrad way to do business becuase there is always conflict.

    Advice to Management

Have some emathy. Treat your workers, candidates you are trying to get jobs for, and your clients like you would like to be treated.

    Cons

management and HR don't value employees. Also if a recruiter, their payment structure results in it taking a long while to get paid.
