I have been working at MRI Software full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Nice office and company events. Great PTO and benefits.

    Cons

Everyone is overworked and can't be bothered. Teams are lacking resources. Need more engineers. Need more analysts. Need more support and managers. Sales promises more than can be delivered. Cries of help to management fall on deaf ears - hence the headline. If you're just here to work for a (lower than market salary) paycheck and have zero sense of urgency, this place might suit you. If you actually care about your... work and your clients, it's a tough spot because you will end up repeatedly disappointing them. No matter who you talk to, you hear the same things. Empty promises with no improvement.

    Advice to Management

Take care of your employees and enable them to take care of their clients. Hire more people. There is business strategy and then there is squeezing every last drop of energy out of all employees to save a dime.

I have been working at MRI Software full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Remote work is possible, perhaps to work from home

    Cons

Unrealistic exceptions, poorly managed, all they do is acquire and cut and everyone left has to get all the work twice as many people used to do

I worked at MRI Software full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The company invests in the experience that the employees are having. This includes having a 'colorful' office space with a good atmosphere, having food trucks come on Tuesdays, beer taps in the office at 4 on Fridays, building a large pavilion outside of the main office to have lunch and have summer meetings in, as well as several other aspects that do make MRI a fun place to work.

    Cons

The product development teams are small and are only able to focus on core functions at a given time, this means that any products that need an overhaul sadly don't receive one. As an account executive, this means that you will be competing against other solutions that do receive the regular updates, and companies that specialize in just one part of the process - for account managers, this isn't as much of a problem..., as they are allowed to work with current clients who have already built their business models around MRI. Leadership claims it is this way because it improves the balance sheet and makes several financial ratios more attractive, but as competitors grow and innovate on their solutions at a faster rate, I fear that these products will become more and more difficult to sell. They also only offer HDHP options (with a somewhat difficult 'point system' that determines your HSA contribution) for healthcare plans and that can be less accessible to someone with chronic issues than a PPO option.

I have been working at MRI Software full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Friendly people but that might have changed after acquisition

    Cons

Low pay and long hours for little to no career advancement. Management will let go of people for better numbers so they can sell the company and cash in..
