I have been working at MSC Industrial Direct full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible schedule, good pay, not stuck in an office all day. Competent management who give you freedom. No micro management. Just hit your numbers and everyone will be satisfied.

    Cons

There has been some changes with the company lately with the acquisition of Barnes. Leads to favoritism in favor of the MSC Outside Sales Reps.

I have been working at MSC Industrial Direct full-time

    Pros

Good pay and decent benefits compared to what is offered by other companies.

    Cons

Don't have a lot of bad things to say about this company, other than upper management should communicate better with non-management associates, and there is not a lot of opportunity for growth unless you want to relocate.

I worked at MSC Industrial Direct as an intern

    Pros

    Great pay for an intern
They work to provide experiences that will be valuable
Even as a college student you can get access to all levels of a fairly large organization, from packagers to C-suite

    Cons

Seems disorganized at times on the administrative end
People are either very happy or very unhappy
