I worked at MTM full-time for more than a year

    Pros

-Upper management and some in mid-management are professional and knowledgeable. -Great benefits package and company sponsored activities/programs/parties -A handful of indispensable and remarkable professionals -Upper Management responsive and attentive to entry level employees' concerns and receptive to input/suggestions

    Cons

-Immature and unprofessional workplace culture among entry level customer service reps -Divisive and deceitful tactics used by some supervisors to gain their cliques' respect by degrading and targeting other employees -Juvenile environment and juvenile methods methods used to keep them in line; bathroom and coffee breaks are timed and the more you take lowers your bonus...

    Advice to Management

It's imperative to assess personalities and scrutinize past work experience during the hiring process in order to keep employees happy and efficient. Don't hire people that need to be herded into their seats or timed on every break for fear that they've wandered off into a corner to gossip. It's unfair to the other hardworking non-juvenile adults who enjoy their employment at MTM.

    Pros

PTO (Don’t believe the hype about all the GOOD REVIEWS BECAUSE IT’S FAKE LIKE THE SUPERVISORS). Your best friends will be the ones sitting next to you in training class. Once you get into nesting after the short training and unprofessional session then your pretty much on your own.

    Cons

Fake colleagues and 2 facing supervisors who gossip amongst new employees through email smiling in your face and laugh behind your back. Pay attention to your surroundings and you’ll see the favoritism. It is good to see diversity until it’s classified amongst your peers. Pay attention to details and you’ll see what I mean. Good luck to all the new hires. There will be continuous of endless hiring process due to the unhealthy...

I worked at MTM full-time for more than a year

    Pros

+Gives you good knowledge of what its like to handle calls for medical transportation +Managing some of the best health plans +Specials parties on some occasions +Good health benefits

    Cons

-Handling more than enough contracts that expand over the states -Computers run outdated software and are very laggy at times of high call volumes -There is a lot of concerns over air quality since the area is heavily polluted from air coming from the chemical plants and traffic from the overpass -You will not be treated with respect for the work you provide and the worst part yet is that the pay is extremely low...

I worked at MTM full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Hiring was 11. Now it's 12.50, generally busy so you aren't bored sitting there. Not many pros company wants to be more professional than they actually are.

    Cons

Horrible hours if you haven't been there over 6 months, no over time available generally, must stay in customer service for 6 months minimum to promote from within.

I have been working at MTM for more than a year

    Pros

Pay and benefits after 30 days. Bonus and fun activities

    Cons

You get cursed at daily. You hear some sad stories. They focus on time yet you have to hit all your points and provide excellent customer service. Other workers not doing their jobs right and causing problems for you. The new focus on cost per mile

    Advice to Management

Be more lenient on handle time. Considering what we have to do its even harder to keep it down

    Pros

Promotions and internal opportunities, decent benefits, ok attendance policy, CEO is a good person

    Cons

Terrible training, lack of knowledge to do job. TERRIBLY LOW PAY, unfulfilled promises, unprofessional hiring structure, Lack of fulfilling company promise, coaches and supervisors are not helpful, unfair HR practices (termination), totally inflexible to providing work-life balance (no school possibility), poor reporting structure (never heard back from leadership with questions), WAY TOO MUCH information to be expected...

    Advice to Management

Improve the communication between lower level employees and leadership, CSR's aren't given proper training on protocols, terrible mode of communication while taking calls and reaching out to management. There should definitely be a training program for managers and HR, rather than just assuming they know since they've been here x amount of years. I was NEVER able to have my questions answered about benefits and many other...

I worked at MTM full-time for less than a year

    Pros

40 hours a week but if you take time off even though you have Pto, it adds points against you.

    Cons

A clique of managers who were there only because they were there when the company started. They dumped everything on us and when things didn't look good for them we were to blame. Had us take calls from Florida even though we knew nothing about the program. Half the clients were welfare people who automatically expected the best transportation and were too lazy to ride the buses, and pretending to be handicapped, but...

    Advice to Management

Start looking at lower management and checking them out. They are getting rid of new employees just to make themselves look good. The place has no soul unlike most medical companies where they truly care about the client.

I worked at MTM full-time for less than a year

    Pros

This company has pretty good benefits and pay. The office I worked in also ran fun programs to encourage excellence in our work quality.

    Cons

This company is plum crazy!! They don't give enough training on medicaid policies that we are supposed to be providing customer service for and the management doesn't seem to know what they are doing. Lastly, you are taking calls all day from medicaid recipients & most of them call in with a chip on their shoulder and a "the world owes me" attitude. They can be highly nasty.

    Advice to Management

Train your call center employees better!! And one day isn't really enough time to learn a policy when you have 12 other policies already crammed into your head. Organise your people better and make sure that EVERYONE knows what you are doing so there isn't so much confusion on who is doing or done what. Also, more support to your employees would be helpful. They are already being beat to death every day by the clients...
