I worked at MUY Brands full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Benefits seemed good, salary was competitive, 45k plus possible 15k bonuses. Many locations from Ohio to Texas. Vacation home use.

    Cons

When I started my 1st day the orientation took 30 minutes, she breezed through everything it was very unprofessional. I was at a training store and the atmosphere was very unpleasant. I was treated as if they did not want me there. I had to buy a pair of earbuds just to watch some training videos because they were totally unprepared and did not seem to care. I was treated poorly and chose to move on. Horrible experience.

    Advice to Management

If you have a training store they better be equipped to train. If you want to attract good professional people you better make them feel like they are wanted. Especially their 1st day.

    Advice to Management

Have more upper management so that you are not spread so thin that there is no support system.

I worked at MUY Brands part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

No one over your shoulder during deliveries, that's about it because as a delivery driver, you will take up the slack of all other positions while in store

    Cons

Incompetent management, non adequate training, changes schedule without notice then holds you accountable when you don't show up for changed shifts. Management doesn't want you to make a living the way they handle shifts and keep an eye on hours.

    Advice to Management

Treat all your employees equally, you never know who knows who or who knows how to hold companies accountable for incompetence.

I have been working at MUY Brands part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    It's a job. That's about it.

    Cons

The call center people aren't trained properly. As a delivery driver, I've been told by management that the call center people tell customers that the delivery fee is a tip when it isn't. Delivery fee is $3, delivery drivers only get $.88 of that. And I've been told there is nothing we can do to stop the call center people from doing this. I've missed out on a lot of tips because of this and customers think I'm getting a tip when I'm not. And I can't say anything about it unless the customer asks first.
I've had three male coworkers make rape jokes. As a woman, this is very concerning for me, because two of them are in management positions and I've been alone in the store with them while closing.
One of the men that has made a rape joke also harasses me because I'm vegan. He doesn't call me by my name, he calls me Peter Rabbit, he asks me what it's like eating grass, constantly tells me that dolphin and sushi is delicious and makes what he thinks are dolphin noises at me when I walk by (the sound is more like the noise a seal would make). He's asked me if in an apocalypse with no food source, would I kill and eat my cat? Whenever I say something about my cat, he mutters things like, "Kill it", or "Eat it".
I'm going to bring this up with my manager within the next few days and if it continues, I'm going to sue.

    Advice to Management

Make all employees take sensitivity training and harassment training. Make sure the call center people know that the delivery fee isn't a tip and don't tell customers that it is.

    Pros

Fast paced call center environment. You learn and work every part of the business i.e. labor, cost per order, he, operations, training is hands on, leadership does not micro manage

    Cons

Not enough time to coach and develop csrs, high Csr turn over, long hours avg 50 hours

    Advice to Management

You could probably retain more csrs if you paid more than minimum wage and no raises.
