I have been working at MUY Brands full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Free Food, 10 Hours of Overtime a week

    Cons

Base Pay is only $0.75 more than starting crew, Average pay after OT is only $2 more than starting crew, crew only get pay raises when it is mandated by law so experienced good crew make no more than someone on their first day leads to high turnover rate. My hours personally are terrible, basically 3rd shift with no extra pay or caring about your personal life. Crew often no call no shows and you are expected to pick up their slack even when they were 1 of 3 crew members scheduled to work.

    Advice to Management

Reward hard and loyal workers by offering raises
Pay managers more for their work, they are the reason why you get 6 figures a year you could afford to pay them for all the work they do.

I worked at MUY Brands full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Besides a paycheck that isn't worth the work, nothing.

    Cons

Upper management does not work or help managers, they expect results without support, disregard all the positives in your work for one mess up. Long hours with no compensation. Expect you to fix maintenance issues in your store rather than using vendors, will advise you to stay over night if thats what it takes (you have to be clocked out by a specific time for admin work so unpaid). Very rarely promotes from within so don't expect to make your way up, they will hire someone off the streets to do a bigger role than someone who has worked there for several years.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate and acknowledge your employees, they work a LOT harder than you and make a LOT less.

    Pros

Decent check. One week paid vacation. A lot of interesting interaction with new people every day. I really don't have a lot of pros here

    Cons

Long hours. Long days. Overtime is only 5 dollars an hour. Even when I'm scheduled 50 hour weeks. It hurts knowing the last ten hours I work, I'm not even making minimum wage

    Advice to Management

Pay people what they're worth, get to know the people below you. Some of them have really good hearts and will work hard for what they believe in

I worked at MUY Brands full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Long hours. Free lunch ( if you're working in a store that can support meals for employees )

    Cons

No time for anything else . No real benefits (401 k health or dental worth buying) Plus it's hard to get your vacation time because they are always short staffed

    Advice to Management

Benefits! And appreciation , and try listening to your employees . This people are not just cattle. Without them there is no profit.

I worked at MUY Brands full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Benefits seemed good, salary was competitive, 45k plus possible 15k bonuses. Many locations from Ohio to Texas. Vacation home use.

    Cons

When I started my 1st day the orientation took 30 minutes, she breezed through everything it was very unprofessional. I was at a training store and the atmosphere was very unpleasant. I was treated as if they did not want me there. I had to buy a pair of earbuds just to watch some training videos because they were totally unprepared and did not seem to care. I was treated poorly and chose to move on. Horrible experience.

    Advice to Management

If you have a training store they better be equipped to train. If you want to attract good professional people you better make them feel like they are wanted. Especially their 1st day.
