I have been working at MV Transportation full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Unlimited overtime, if you want it. It available for those who want it. No excuses get your money. 9 hours off and you can be back behind the wheel.

    Cons

Bad communication. Ask 20 people about a rule and you'll get 15 different answers. Quite frustrating getting in touch with management.

    Advice to Management

More refresher training on pay and benefits as things change

I worked at MV Transportation full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Being independent.
    Better than minimum wage.

    Cons

Pay: 11.50 an hour is not an adequate wage for driving people around all day.
    You cannot listen to music.
You do not have a set time, unless you work there for over a year.
The Atlanta office is filled with black women from the management to the drivers.
They are some of the rudest people i have met in my life.
This Brady Ave location is just miserable as soon as you get to work.
You have to first find a parking spot good luck.
Then you have to find a decent running bus to use.
One day I went through 4 buses before I found one that works.

    Advice to Management

    Set schedules.
    Better pay and benefits.

I have been working at MV Transportation full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The company I opened my eyes on the road. The job is like a hobby. How I am lucky to work for seniors and disables. The safety meeting gives me to be more curious and protect myself even when driving my own car

    Cons

Unskilled personnel managing the job on the division I'm working. I'm afraid the division will lose its performance because of these production centered mangers

    Advice to Management

Please assign well educated people on the position or experienced people on the job, otherwise u are damaging the moral of employees. Don't be production manager only, at least show human relation. Be fair.

I have been working at MV Transportation full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It has gotten better at mvp access a ride division, but needs more improvement. The only positive thing about the job is the overtime and helping people with disabilities.

    Cons

Poor benefits and revolving door attitude.

    Advice to Management

Respect the drivers who risk their health driving all day to provide freedom for people with disabilities. Give us better benefits.

I have been working at MV Transportation full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The company does an ok job with keeping everyone involved and tries to stay on top of making sure all concerns are met.

    Cons

There needs to be better communication among management and employees. I know this is a common issue with many companies but it makes a huge difference when the communication is strong

    Advice to Management

Listen to all your employees and not just the ones that make the most fuss, you miss out on important changes that could be made.
