    Pros

Great culture, entire IT management has changed within the last two years for the better, excellent vision by the CIO and transparency throughout the organization. A fun, rewarding place to work. Not the MVP IT of the past, its truly transforming into a agile technology hub within upstate NY.

    Cons

None that I can think of

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what your doing, its working!

    Pros

    i cant think of any

    Cons

No gratitude tours hard working individuals. they rather cut out dept to hire at a lower rate at their main location in Albany. They try to implement so many different changes yet don't evaluate what's already working. They truly break things to then try to fix it. for a healthcare company they offer lousy insurance to their employees.

    Advice to Management

focus on if is not broken why fix it. work on knowing what your employees do before you try to break their work ethics!

I have been working at MVP Health Care full-time

    Pros

    Great teams, respect, perks.

    Cons

MVP hires new management with no management experience. Manager yelled constantly for no reason. Adults do not do that. Brought up to VP and was advised that we need to help train management.

    Advice to Management

No one needs to yell at their employees. Everyone is an adult. When management yells because they had a bad day, this makes the workplace toxic. This is why I left. MVP loses good people because of toxic management.

I worked at MVP Health Care full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good salary, great benefits (healthcare, vacation time, sick time, etc), good flexibility at work (flexible hours, time off, etc)

    Cons

Typical corporate experience- departments are compartmentalized (no communication between) and almost adversarial at times. poor management not well addressed by 'higher ups'

    Advice to Management

Managerial oversight would benefit teams at large- accountability. Creating fluidity between departments would likely speed up most processes.

    Pros

CEO Inclined to improve the company. Decent Pay and PTO.

    Cons

Lacking quality leadership, vision and communication of that vision. Moral is very low. Many layoffs over the last 2 years. Management in some departments have bully mentality which drives out good employees.

    Advice to Management

Find good, qualified leaders and most of all.... respected leaders!

    Pros

Good benefits, slightly flexible work schedule.

    Cons

Management does not believe in training of any kind. Constant overtime makes for a very poor work/life balance. Management always cleaning up messes instead of trying to be proactive.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with more respect. A little respect garners much harder working and loyal employees.
