    I have been working at Macmillan Education full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    The new facility Macmillan moved into is nice, it's got a "campus" feel to the office, although there are times things get noisy and it's hard to focus unless you go find a "quiet room" cubby hole (aka: phone closet) to go find some tranquility.

    Cons

    Upper management and C-Level exec's are too busy planning meetings and getting nothing done, bogged down with bureaucratic nonsense, and covering up the inefficiencies of a poorly executed product (Launchpad) and trying to figure out just how many fleshy-colored band-aids will be necessary to mask the lack of quality and true triage "FIXES" to the product, and execute true "Fixes", those who dare point out such deficiencies and lack of true "best practices" to help make for a more robust customer experience are branded hooligans and rebels, and eventually singled out to be pushed off the poop deck of the S.S. Macmillan
