    Pros

    Friendly and professional when in times of low stress or success

    Cons

    Lacks oversight on middle management allowed toxic cultures to build up within specific teams and has allowed poor overall strategy to fall on employees (after I left the organisation due to the first point).

    I have been working at Macquarie Telecom Group full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    The people only, specifically in middle management and below. Some perks, flexible working for some, city parking for some, events for some (most recently they had an international woman’s day event over lunch and didn’t invite all women in the business?!)

    Cons

    A trusted source has said that any positive reviews on here are done by HR. The company wants to build up a positive image and score. Every time I see a positive score which is done by HR I’ll submit a negative one to keep the reviews honest. The NPS has the same feedback only using the positive scores and not counting the negative, or altering them - which I’ve seen first hand. Everyone above middle management up to group execs are unethical and untrustworthy, vile, fake people. The untelco internal conference was a joke, and the feedback is unbelievable as no one spoke positively about it yet the review from the group exec was positive. Telco Sales in NSW have had 5 managers in 3 years and are not enabled or empowered to do the job. Project team are at breaking point and no one lasts past 6months because it’s not worth it. Too much work, not enough resource and pay. Commercial team are vile, verbally abuse people and swear all day long. The HUB don’t have enough support they haven’t been doing the job long enough because the dept has a head count freeze then 6 months later they wonder why they have a problem. (A dept where people are only contracted for 2years) A COO who is a bully who had various people resign because no one can stand working with him. More resignations to come - watch this space!

    Pros

    None that I can think of. Twenty words are the bare minimum so I am adding lines to this....

    Cons

    Rude, offensive people around. Lots of politics and gossips that has no values in improving the business. and of course, bad middle management who doesnt have in-depth knowledge, yet again treat people-under by loading up with unnecessary and meaningless work to show the 'power' over. Bad processes with inefficiencies, which senior management wants to change, but there are many hurdles (people) who are lazy and unwilling to adapt

    Pros

    Good working environment and nice people. Salaries are just above industry average. Great incentive programs.

    Cons

    Leadership team need to take more calculated risks. Lacking innovation. Middle management are not willing to challenge CEO's thinking.

    Plenty of exposure to best practice sales processes.

    Cons

    Lack of innovation, and a founder Ceo who is too conservative. Middle management with long tendor, makes a stale environment.

    Pros

    Good line manager, working with some smart and talented people in the field. Exposure to a number of technologies and various vendors.

    Cons

    Senior management was sales driven and externally focussed, without attention to inner workings of company. Middle management scramble to impress, time not spent improving processes. No training, zero focus on lower level employees. Absolutely no leading from the front or empowering of lower level employees. Very inconsistent service sold vs service provided introducing dishonesty.
