I worked at Macy's full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Team oriented benefits department. The work environment, growth, and training opportunities were great.

    Cons

The retail market is transitioning and constant changes are occurring. This translates into consolidation and uncertainty.

    Advice to Management

Take risks and be original. Reinvent your retail business.

    I worked at Macy's

    Pros

    1. Can get macys and macys.com products at a discount 2. Beauty queens parade around the work place soothing the senses of men 3. Situated in downtown area therefore there are lot of restaraunts around

    Cons

    1. The technical team there had no interest in work. They were actually enacting a drama 2. Somebody from other team mentioned that the team I worked for had the thickest skin 3. If you schedule meetings people might not show up. so its optional 4. I dont know if this is a pro or a con but people do not have to work 5. There was some really stinky guy around, so I guess you dont have to work.

    Advice to Management

Throw caution in the wind for new hires.
