decent pay and commission, flexible scheduling, fun coworkers

    Cons

I worked at Macy's full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Upper managerment is very supportive and wants to help you be successful. Open door to talk with you store manager any time you need. You will be able to make decisions and given the freedom to lead your teams. Discount is very good. The company does a lot for charities. Great products at great prices. They are really focused on giving customers the very best. Salary is very fair between $40000 and $50000.

    Cons

It is a big company and the stores are big. You can get lost in the company if you don't try to stand out. No bonus for Sales Managers, salary only.

    I worked at Macy's

    Pros

Very supportive sales associates and sales managers. Going to work each day and being around people you like was a huge plus. Generally speaking, you know that most people really care about each other.

    Cons

There are to many to list, but I'll try The company places unrealistic demands/goals on their people. As a manager, you must be willing to play ball or bad things will happen to you. You will hear a lot about being "brand right" and you had better believe it. If for any reason, you don't fit the image of Macy's you are gone.
