    Lies and Discrimination

    Pros

Easy temporary work while searching for a real job

    Cons

Lies, minimal pay, discrimination, bullying, and reprehensible people. I'd give Macys less than 1 star if I could. My bosses raved about my work ethic and knew I had a university degree. I took this job for advancement opportunity and made it known. My immediate manager promised to promote me and I have it in writing. I worked hard doing everything I could from my end. When you're working hard you become the subject of workplace bullies, and another manager told me a coworker was making racist comments about me to other workers along with making fun of my speech impediment. I kid you not, literally the same day that happened someone ran a huge knife through my tire in the work parking lot. Loss prevention, mall security, and my managers did nothing about it not even looked into this 'coincidence'. It's ok to vandalize my stuff because it's not Macys property it seems. After that, workplace bullying increased and it became clear my boss had no intention on following through with promoting me like he assured me of in writing. I did nothing but outwork everyone around me and picked up hours to help out whenever asked. My boss avoids me to discuss why he mislead me about a promotion, and the only reason I can think of is outright sabotage from lazy coworkers that were threatened by me.
