    I worked at Macy's full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Good pay (for retail), flexible schedule, awesome co-workers, employee discount, and AMAZING product-specific training!

    Cons

    Only the usual retail-related cons...like not having a set schedule, having to work on most holidays, etc...but nothing specific to Macy's (nothing that comes to mind, at least).

    I have been working at Macy's full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Great work environment. Good management.

    Cons

    Pay is lower than other stores. Hours aren't great. As a manager you are expected to work on event days and key days.

    Advice to Management

    More work life balance!!

    Prestigious store, Cosmetics, fun, discounts.

    Cons

    Terrible management, understaffed, too high sales goals, lazy co workers.

    Advice to Management

    Management should be able to do anything they ask of employees. If you can't use a register who can your employees ask for help.
