I worked at Macy's (Less than a year)

    Pros

Making your own schedule to fit your day to day life, working with great fun people, the discounts are great, Trying new technology everyday, Sales every week, always times to work.

    Cons

Macy's uses a point system so whatever happens they go by points. If your sick you better hope you have points, Since there's no registers sometimes you can't clock in unless someone is done with a transaction. If you don't get credits or my clients .. goodluck getting a good raise

    Advice to Management

Sometimes things happen, my mom got really sick. I had to take care of her, I had points, but they started to go away. I wasn't close with some managers they couldn't or didn't want to help me and replace my points even when someone in my family died. Some managers are close to some associates so they always help them or give them points back, but if your not your just going to get terminated like me unfortunately.
