    I worked at Macy's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Overall they are a laid back company so it is a nice place to start if you are looking for a temp job or new to retail.

    Cons

Not always enough hours, information flowed down hill but it is kind of confusing at times, because people never leave it is hard to move up.

    Advice to Management

Help employees develop the future they want to see while incorporating them into the future direction of the organization.

    I worked at Macy's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good training for a few days and weekly pay days. I don’t have anything else to say about the pros.

    Cons

Lack of training after you completed your training for two days. Lack of hours for seasonal employees. Management won’t tell when to start picking up hours after your two day training. After months not picking up shifts they were not trained me.

I have been working at Macy's full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The schedule is flexible. It’s a twenty word minimum for the pros section, but unfortunately I really have no other pros.

    Cons

Was literally bullied and harassed beyond belief at this job. I worked as a cosmetic counter manager and I can definitely say this is the worst job I have ever had. The management was extremely cruel and unsupportive. No encouragement, just critiques. Coworkers were bullies. Macy’s doesn’t care about their employees. You don’t get sick pay, vacation, or holiday pay for the first 6 months. Horrible job.
All I can say is, STAY AWAY.
