    I worked at Macy's as a contractor

    Pros

They have a well-trained staff to train new members who join the company.

    Cons

The time I spent the job was somewhat disconcerting. I would have preferred it to last a longer time.

I have been working at Macy's full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    The work is extremely easy.
The work environment is very relaxed and easygoing (people play music and everyone is very friendly and helpful).

    Cons

The pay is terrible (good luck trying to get any sort of pay raise).
    Not much room for advancement.
If you’re like me and need work that is a little challenging to keep you interested and stimulated, I would not recommend this job for you. (It’s simple and repetitive work).

I have been working at Macy's (Less than a year)

    Pros

The environment is positive, and management is very helpful.

    Cons

The break rooms aren't big enough in the departments, and not enough microwaves.

    Advice to Management

    Larger break rooms..

    I worked at Macy's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Pay and work wasn't bad.

    Cons

Temp agency only used us for three days. Not cool. Breaks weren't long enough to digest your food.

    Advice to Management

Hire through company, not temp agency.

I have been working at Macy's part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I would have to say the weekly pay is the best part of this job.

    Cons

You do not have the opportunities to advance, like I want. Seems to be a lot of favoritism.

    Advice to Management

Equality, boundaries, limits on excessive policy abuse, limit political correctness.

I have been working at Macy's part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    -Flexible schedule
-Fast pace packing out boxes for shipments

    Cons

    -Not enough hours for part-timers
    -Less than 20 hours/weekly
    -Schedule hours varies

    Advice to Management

Should reconsider keeping both teams in the same circle about company gains and losses and as well as changes around the warehouse. Should consider having an active communication board

    I worked at Macy's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great management, consistently showing employee appreciation, and fast paced work environment and opportunities to move into "supervisor in training" if you work hard.

    Cons

lots and lots of walking. Be sure to wear very comfortable shoes. Working in Macy's Warehouse is not easy. It's not for people who are looking for an easy job.

    Advice to Management

    keep up the good work!

I worked at Macy's (Less than a year)

    Pros

    No pros. . . .

    Cons

No room for advancement, you never move up. Its a dead end job. Low pay. Management is very unorganized, Managers can care less. Macys dont care about their employees. The main manager of the warehouse said to everyone at the warehouse "you don't like it here, you can go work down the street".... Its a really bad company, i don't recommend it to anyone unless your really really really desperate for a job then its understandable.

    Advice to Management

Needs to learn to listen to employees
