I have been working at Macy's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    You get paid every Friday.

    Cons

Most of the managers are a joke. They talk down to younger employees as if they're stupid. They accuse the younger employees of ridiculous things. They basically tell you you're not doing your job when you realistically work more/harder than the "older" crowd they seem to favorite. If you're not getting them credit, then they don't care about you. These people (specifically managers/supervisors) CLAIM to be all about SUPPORT and supporting their teams. That is absolutely false. They're very selective about who they really support, and it's definitely not the younger crowd. You can have customers getting in your face, threatening you, and these managers will not speak up nor defend you whatsoever. Instead, they'll side with the customer. I've worked here for almost 4 months and I've already been screwed over so many times. It's miserable.

    Advice to Management

    New management.
