I worked at Macy's as an intern (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Recruitment office is amazing! Pay is about average for San Francisco at $30/hr + $1500 bonus for housing. Overtime eligible. Great new office. The people were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Went to company outings frequently.

    Cons

Onboarding can be confusing and shortage of MacBook Pros contributes to poor planning for onboarding. Also feedback as far as team placement wasn't really considered.

    Advice to Management

Have more 1 on 1 with TECH EDPS and interns!

Making great connections with the customers, teamwork, coworkers, and the ever evolving pace of Macy's. Working for Macy's has been a great experience , and I believe would be great company to continue to work for the reasons stated above.

    Cons

Take care of your employees, they will take care of the customer.

    Pros

Easy first job since no ones ever watching you or there to scold you

Nice people to work with and nice customer base. Flexible scheduling. Nice merchandise and store discount. Computer system is easy to learn
