    I worked at Macy's full-time

    Pros

Gratis, training, pay, friendly coworkers, certain managers are very kind

    Cons

Open very late, INSANE event goals (like $25,000) that 5 people have to get, No time for personal life, understaffed, stressful, needed to get 3 credit cards a week, corporate would randomly show up to check your myclient list to see if you were texting hundreds of people to come back in and shop.

I have been working at Macy's full-time for less than a year

    Pros

In commission, specifically women's shoes, you can make a lot of money during the holidays, and a lot of the time the associates are very friendly.

    Cons

The emphasis on selling credit cards is extreme. It really doesn't matter how hard you work. Of you're not selling enough credit cards they send you to a "credit university" which is as condescending as it is insulting. The management is click-ish and lazy. If you're not in a managers friend group you're not getting promoted. The customers can also be horrible (but that's kinda true everywhere... But its extra true here).

I have been working at Macy's part-time for more than a year

    Pros

They are very flexible when it comes to adjusting work hours with your schedule, and their point system allows for call outs without being severely penalized.

    Cons

Management can be disorganized and chaotic at times, depending on the department and location. Depending on managers, they can make your experience at Macy's positive or completely ruin it.

    I worked at Macy's

    Pros

Flexibility, meet new people, easy, extra money type job, freedom, no micromanging, relaxing except on holidays or back to school shopping or big saie days

    Cons

Work weekends, low low low pay, not worth it to me, but thats how I feel about all retail jobs, sucky hours when business is slow, overworked at times, treating like you're disposable, fake people especially management who look down on you

I worked at Macy's part-time for less than a year

    Pros

We got paid every Friday , the company has a lot to offer , the scheduling system was easy , during holidays you have chances to earn extra , sales always happen ,

    Cons

Commissioned sales , customers get really angry , some people do not show up to work , not everyone wants a Macy's card , there is no option to work weekends only , my coworker always called out and I was left with 30 customers
